This Foldable Washi sun-visors by Yoko Kagoshima are exhibited at window gallery of Umeda Hankyu Sanbangai. Nearly 100 of hats are different from each other from its color and design. They are reversible, and they all have a practical use. Ms. Kagoshima tried the hats by herself to add improvement for a practical use.
Ms. Kagoshima says I used Washi because it has elasticity yet has body, easy to stitch, strong against water and it can be fold and open repeatedly. These are all in different colors or designs, and you can wear by folding in anyway you like. I made these with my respect towards the forerunners of papermakers and the people who carried it onto today.
