The 30th Handmade Papermaking Workshop
The application for 30th Handmade Papermaking Workshop is started!
As Awagami's annual event, we will have 6 days of intense papermaking workshop in August of 2012.
At this workshop, the course will be covering basic traditional method of papermaking; preparing Kozo bark for cooking, cleaning, beating the fiber and papermaking to drying. This workshop is not only for the people who are already working closely with paper but also for any levels of people who have interests how traditional papers are made and willing to have more knowledge about Japanese paper in general.
Please join us for this occasion and experience the joy of papermaking!

Workshop Fee >>
¥50,000 (course and material fees)
* Along with the application form, please make a deposit of ¥10,000 by credit card payment. The rest of ¥40,000 can be paid when you arrived on the first day of the workshop. Please note that this depoit fee of ¥10,000 is not refundable.

Accommodations >>
Along with the enrollment, we will book an accommodation at Fuigo Inn for you as it is located closest from our mill. Please let us know if you prefer to arrange the accommodation by yourself.

Meals >>
Breakfast and dinner will be served at the inn.
If you would like us to arrange your lunch, Japanese style lunch box will be available by request for 450 yen /meal. Please let us know if you would like to order the lunch box when you submit your application form.
* If you prefer a veggetarian meal, please let us know in advance.
